Saudi German Women & Children Hospital Pediatric wing offers comprehensive medical care for children. It has a pediatric emergency department that is specifically designed to provide emergency medical care to children.
The hospital has highly trained and experienced pediatricians who specialize in all pediatric subspecialties, including pediatric cardiology, pediatric neurology, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric hematology, pediatric oncology, and pediatric surgery. The hospital also offers a wide range of pediatric services, including diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, rehabilitation services, and inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to its pediatric emergency department and all pediatric subspecialties, the Saudi German Children Hospital also has a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
The NICU is specifically designed to provide specialized care for premature or critically ill newborns. It is staffed by highly trained neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are experienced in providing advanced medical care for infants who require intensive medical attention.
The PICU, on the other hand, is a specialized unit that provides comprehensive care for critically ill children who require intensive medical attention.
